Scholarship

A Scholarship that is given to a student in need, attending Western Michigan University, and in the College of Health and Human Services

Our daughter, Alex, was a senior at Western Michigan University, and a month shy of graduating with a degree in Interdisciplinary Health Services, when, by no fault of her own, she was struck head on by a distracted driver May 12, 2012.  She fought for her life for a week, but passed away due to her injuries.  Alex is very deeply missed by her family, friends, classmates, and co-workers, as well as those she cared for in her work.  In an effort to carry on her legacy, we have started the Alexandra Burgett Scholarship Fund at Western Michigan University.
